Langton Green is a popular traditional Kent village situated just two miles west of Tunbridge Wells. You can enjoy village life but take advantage of everything Tunbrdige Wells has to offer by way of retail therapy, entertainment, sports, commuter links and nearby schools.
You will find a mix of charming Grade II period houses, Georgian country houses, traditional Kent oast houses with their hop kiln tops alongside terraced Victorian cottages.

For those times you want to avoid town life this picturesque village offers some real treats. The green is the heart of village life all year round. Visit the Grade II church with Pre Raphaelite windows designed by William Morris the renowned Victorian textile designer and Arts & Craft member. For foodies visit The Hare, a classic English pub on the green, for Sunday lunch. The locally run Pavilion Café is the perfect stop for coffee, catch ups and delicious cakes. The Brunch café is also worth a visit on Langton Road. There are several small independent shops including David Lovett family butchers and Langton’s bakery for local amenities.
The green plays hosts to the annual summer fete, Picnic on the Green and the Langton Green cricket club matches. The village hall is a hive of activity for the ‘very young to the young at heart’ including dance, Pilates, tai chi, yoga, aerobics, badminton and bowls. Langton Green Community Sports Association run local football and netball clubs, and the scouts, brownies and girl guides all have clubs close by.

The surrounding area of natural beauty offers an extensive network of footpaths ideal for walking, cycling and hacks. For horse enthusiasts visit South Farm Riding Stables. Travel
Being a short distance from Tunbridge Wells the village enjoys the same quick commute links to London central, Gatwick Airport and Ashford International rail stations. Tunbridge Wells mainline station is just over 2 miles and Ashurst Station Eridge Station and High Brooms are all close by. By car the M25 and M20 motorways, the Channel Tunnel terminal at Folkestone and Channel ports at Dover are all within an easy reach drive. Gatwick airport is approximately 40 minutes and Heathrow airport 1 hour by car. The A264 runs through the village taking you straight to East Grinstead.
