If you were a Southern Water customer and paid wastewater charges between 1 April 2015 and 31 March 2020, but no longer from 1 April 2020, you may be eligible to apply for a payment.
Southern Water say that “In the past, our wastewater treatment works didn’t perform as well as we said they did. We made mistakes and are working hard to stop this ever happening again. To make amends, we’ve agreed to give payments to people who were wastewater customers between 2015 and 2020”.
Aside from making a claim for your home address, it could include landlords who paid water charges during void periods, or vendors who moved before the sale date. You can make a claim by clicking here until 30 September 2020.
